Press Release

Elongated figure, geometric severity, masterly cuts giving definition to an extraordinary softness. Distinct colors, prints with garden scents and hues. Clothes for wearing all day long and easily into evening. And then a dream element as well…

The lines: small round shoulders, ever strong of impact; kimono sleeves, yet with particular cuts; lots of cardigan necks, lots of classic collars too, mostly on shirts; slimmer skirts, similar to cropped trousers as to practical use. At the basis of the above are keen technical solutions: unstitched overlapping triangular darts, panels, deep unpressed folds.

The clothes: cardigans and blazers, suits, shirtwaist-dusters, shirts and pants. The beachwear includes pinafores, bermuda shorts, bodysuits, swimsuits, terry robes and leisure suits.

The materials: waterproof mélange silk shantung, linen stripes, wool pinstripe, cotton piqué, terry-cloth, silk satin. Cotton, linen, lambswool and cashmere yarns. Pierced suede and solid-tone or gorgeous print nappa round out the range.

The colors: the softest and brightest shades of dahlia, carnation, peony, of flowers blossoming in June – the same appearing in the form of prints on crepe de chine, cotton poplin and soft nappa leather. Here and there, the classics, white, black, navy blue make a statement, too.

The accessories, all designed by Gianfranco Ferré:

multicolor scarves and foulards in odd shapes, distributed by I PARALLELI;

supersoft bags and big fun purses in print leather, distributed by REDWALL;

yachting shoes and espadrilles in canvas and nabuk with rubber or buff sole, plus colorful pumps with ribbed heel, distributed by GUIDO PASQUALI.
